The Head of Product is responsible for ensuring our digital assets deliver a compelling and engaging user experience that meets the business objectives and provides a point of difference in the market. Responsible for the product vision and delivery of this, you will be managing what is for millions of HK consumers, the physical manifestation of the yuu Rewards programme. For this reason, you will be experienced in managing large scale B2C loyalty/engagement programmes and can take a creative yet robust approach to delivering a market leading customer experience

The challenge is to:

  • Ownership of the product vision and alignment with overall business strategy
  • Development and prioritisation of product roadmap to ensure the development of compelling digital assets across web, mobile and other channels
  • Effective engagement with and communication to all stakeholders
  • Management of product quality and delivery and coordination with internal / external design / development / testing teams
  • Planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost management
  • Outsourced supplier management
  • Compliance with prevailing performance, data protection and security standards
  • Team direction, management and development

Specifically, the Product Owner has control of the product vision and delivery and works to:

  • Research the market, users and competitors to develop the roadmap
  • Plan and prioritise product development
  • Develop epics, themes and stories in line with assessed value to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and which are aligned to the product strategy and business objectives
  • Communicate the vision and direction to the development and creative teams with regard to the project and product requirements
  • Responsible for setting, prioritising and evaluating work delivered by development teams
  • Ensures all teams, whether internal or external, always have an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Lead planning of product releases and set expectations for delivery of new features

 

Do you have experience in Digital Programmes Delivery?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner with relevant industry experience
  • Experience working with large scale B2C digital programmes, preferably in HK market
  • Deep knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Good knowledge and experience of consumer facing digital solutions and underlying technologies
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of software development / engineering, ideally with software development experience
  • Creative thinker
  • Good attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
