Category Manager / Assistant Category Manager

Is your next challenge in category management?

The challenge is to:

• Liaise with Marketing Department to develop attractive and interesting promotional events with pre-agreed selling plan.
• Collaborate closely with retail and sales management to ensure store layouts, promotions and display techniques are effective in maximizing sales and profit generated from the specific merchandise categories.
• Establish and maintain effective margin and price controls which maximize business profits whilst deliver a good value offer to customer.
• Negotiate and work with vendors to build mutually beneficial relationships to ensure long term strategic partnership, leading to lower costs and higher margin.
• Manage stock levels and mark-downs to ensure product availability is high.
• Develop subordinates to be customer and product focused.
• Handle any ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Do you have the experience in category management, trade marketing, or account servicing experience?

• Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of solid experience in category management, trade marketing, or account servicing experience in FMCG industry.
• Category management experience of personal care, beauty or health is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Good analytical skill, well-planned and acute market sense.
• Less experienced candidate will be considered to be Assistant Manager.
